WHO WE ARE
In response to the great need of cancer information and services within the Iranian Community in Farsi, the Iranian Cancer Support Group became a link between the Iranian Community and Canadian Cancer organizations to achieve that goal. We provide support and information for cancer patients and their families in the Farsi language through different programs.
OUR MISSION
our mission as a non-profit, volunteer organization incorporated in Toronto, Ontario, is to support and enhance the quality of life of the members of the Iranian community touched by cancer. To achieve our mission, we collaborate with the Canadian Cancer Society, Gilda’s Club, Wellspring, Willow and other cancer organizations as required.

To have a healthier Iranian community with fewer cancer patients.
OUR VALUES
Following are our guidelines and our goal to work towards our vision.
- Quality – our focus is on cancer patients in the Iranian community, their families and friends. We are trying to guide and support them and excel in that regard daily.
- Caring – we are committed to serving with empathy and compassion.
- Integrity and Respect – we are committed to act in an ethical honest manner and with dignity.
- Responsiveness – we try to be accessible and flexible for those who need us, and to demonstrate a sense of urgency in our decision making.
- Teamwork – we are committed to an effective partnership among volunteers, and we seek opportunities to form alliances with other major groups in the cancer community.
- Confidentiality - We respect every one’s privacy.
- Medical Advise- We do not offer medical advice. Our job is to guide and support clients based on the available translated information in Farsi.
